Navigating health challenges

Spotlight on Healing Tinnitus

During allergy season there are more people experiencing tinnitus. Tinnitus, also known as ringing in the ear, is one health challenge that physically disorients and emotionally overwhelms my clients.

Something happens to your normal health. You might have a bad cold or the flu that starts after flying. Or you might wake up unexpectedly to your ears ringing in a loud high pitched tone. Ringing, buzzing or clogged ears does not go away. Period.

Your symptoms continue to disrupt your normal life preventing you from feeling like yourself. The familiar cycle from coping during the day to feeling anxious and agitated at night is exhausting. Your mind needs a break from stressing over why did this happen, when will it end, and what can I do next.

When your ears are ringing they are stuck in a physical alignment that keeps them clogged and not draining fluids. The way to navigate tinnitus is by helping your ears begin moving again.

CranioSacral Therapy, CST, is an effective physical therapy for treating tinnitus. Physically aligning your ears, jaw and neck naturally restores range of motion. Once the intrinsic movements of your ears are restored, the fluids in your ears can drain. Relief comes when your ears and sinuses are no longer congested and blocked.

Another benefit of cranial alignment is feeling calm and centered. In this state of mind you can begin to feel like yourself. With physical alignment and a calm mind, you can breathe more fully and begin to sleep through the night.

If you are suffering from tinnitus I encourage you to experience the healing resources of CranioSacral Therapy. Your health will begin to shift by going through the natural alignment process.
